(SAADP) South African Actuaries Development bursary South Africa 2017-2018
August 2, 2016 Bursaries

ABOUT THE BURSAR

The South African Actuaries Development Programme (SAADP) began in 2003, when the need was identified for black actuarial skills in South Africa. The firm is an independent, non-profit organisation and the bursary programme aims to bridge the gap of actuarial skills within the black South African community.

Actuaries use statistical and mathematical skills to solve problems with money flow – they manage financial consequences of risk based on future money issues. Students that possess business knowledge, analytical skills and understand human behaviour are best suited to this industry.
